Milia first out in the 2008 endurance season!

Milia was the first to start an endurance race of the Limelight
horses 2008. It was a 40km Clear Round at Ekenäs, near Linköping.
Milia did a good job, jogging down this years first 40km with rider
Anisette Magnusson in a nice 10km/h pace.
A little bit of snow here and there, but spring was in the air!

Welcome LL Reeba!

Last night Relacja (Algorytm - Regina/Probat) gave birth
to a beautiful girl by Daffaq GB (Dormane - Empala / Palas). Everything
went well and Daffaq got his first ever doughter! A proud and strong
filly! Her name will be LL Reeba.

Milia at a "Pay and jump" today!

Today Milia participated in Willands RF´s Pay and
Jump day. It was her first jump event ever and both she and rider
Anisette Magnusson had a great day!

Milia X-rayed without remarks!

As a part of our breeding policy we, with start 2008, will
X-ray not only our stallions before using them for breeding, but
also our mares. This will be an ongoing process since we will not
X-ray pregnant mares or mares with small foals. Milia (Parusnik
- Modnaya / Namek) was the first to go and she came back without
any remarks.

day. He developed a lot since last time and made us very proud!

We got some nice pictures of our darling Hedonizt (Samsheik
- Relacja/Algorytm), celebrating the New Year with some resting
period in Poland. He looks great and is ready to start training
for the 2008 Derby season!

News from LL Rebekkah!

LL Rebekkah (AJA Sanagor - Relacja/Algorytm), who won her
class at the Swedish Nationals earlier this year, is now moving
to Belgium. Her owner, Martina Tjörnvik, got a job offer from
European Training Center (ETC) / Johanna Ullström and will start there in january 2008. Martina
will bring LL Rebekkah with her to ETC and our guess is, there will
be a lot of show training going on during the next season. We wish
them both the best of luck and a good stay with Johanna and Philippe!

Hedonizt a winner today!

Today Hedonizt took his first win at the Warsaw race track!
Ridden again like the time before by Conny Fraisl, who did a superb
job with him. This was the last race for the season so Hedonizt´s
results for 2007 ended 8(1-2-3-1). A very good result, which of
course makes us very proud of our sweetheart "Herman"! Race
protocol and video.
We also were told some good news about Mondiale Kossack
who we sent in training 2 weeks ago. She behaves very well and is
already under the saddle. She will make her debute season 2008 and
we wish her a good stay in Poland!

El Waldo at the dressage program riding day!

Today El Waldo showed off at a different arena than usual.
The race track has changed to the dressage arena as he debuted at
the dressage program riding day at Willands RF. He behaved well
and showed a true joy for this kind of work. Ridden by Anisette
Magnusson they showed the LC:2 program. They only just started training
but our bet is, it wasn´t the last time they entered the dressage
arena!

Hedonizt finished 2nd, beaten by a head today in Warsaw!

Today Hedonizt did a very good job at the race track in
Warsaw. With Conny Fraisl riding him for the first time, he found
his speed at the finish ride and ended second, beaten by a head
by the favorite Czaker. We are very very happy about this development
and congratulate his trainer for doing a very good job with him.
Hedonizt´s results so far his first season is now 1/7(0-2-3-1).
He now has one more race to go this year before a well deserved

New russian Tersk lady to Limelight Arabians!

We are very happy to announce the arrival of Tersk bred
Amanda SU! Amanda is 6 years old by Mat out of Aldomaja / Karnaval,
very strong performance lines in every corner of her pedigree. She
was in race training as a 2-year old but only started once before
she was sold at the Tersk Holland sale. (She finished 3rd.) Now
she is put in training to become an endurance horse. She is a kind,
strong lady with good movements and it will be a joy to see her
develop the next years to come. She will be trained in cooperation
with talented endurance rider Madeleine Fridlund.

Hedonizt finished 4th at the Warsaw racetrack today!

Today, Hedonizt finished 4th at the 1600m race in Warsaw.
This means his record for the season is now 1/6(0-1-3-1) and we
are obviousley very pleased with him! There are two more races planned
for him this season, the first is in 2 weeks, 1600m and then a 1400m
race another week later. We hope he keeps up his joyful and happy
spirit until he gets his well deserved winter rest!

Hedonizt 2nd at the Warsaw race track today!

Today the challange was a 1400m race. Hedonizt raced well
and finished 2nd. We are very happy to se him developing so well.
Of 5 races so far as a 3 year old he now has the results 0-1-3.

El Waldo made his endurance debute today!

Today, our stallion El Waldo (Eldorado - Welona/Mamluk)
made his endurance debute at the 25km Frosta educational ride. He
was very well ridden by Anisette Magnusson. El Waldo himself seemed
to enjoy the change from race track to endurance track and looked
very pleased with himself after the ride!

Again, Hedonizt finished in the money, being third in the
1600m race in Warzaw! He had 2,75 leghts to the winner. See the

Rebekkah class winner at the Swedish Nationals!

LL Rebekkah (AJA Sanagor - Relacja / Algorytm) won the
2-year olds class at todays Swedish Nationals! The class had 9 entries
and the points given where 37,67p on the 10p scale. She was shown
by handler Johanna Ullström from ETC. LL Rebekkah was sold
to Martina Tjörnvik as a yearling - congratulations to the
win!

Milia completed her first endurance race!

Today Milia (Parusnik - Modnaya/Namek) completed her first
50km endurance race in a very nice pace, 10,9km/h. She ended as
number 11 of 19 competitors. She was very well ridden by Anisette
Magnusson who also showed and rode her very successfully the day
before in the evaluation of young endurance horses, open for 6-
and 7-year old horses.

Bouquet finished 3rd in Göingeritten 50km!

Today Bouquet did his second warm up in another 50km ride.
Happily, we finished 3rd, riding 13km/h. He felt relaxed and strong
the hole ride and will now rest most of the time until the 120km
ride in june.

Lovely Top Flyte son born today!

Finally! Regna invited her Top Flyte son into the world today. She
gave birth early evening out in the pastures. It is her first foal
and she did very good. The foal (maby named LL Top Gun?) is strong
and well built. A little explorer too!

Poland. He is developing well and we are very happy to see our "little
boy" grow into a beautiful young stallion, enjoying life!

This morning Relacja gave birth to a beautiful big colt by Drug!
He is strong and full of power! In the pictures he is 35 hours old.

El Waldo has arrived!

Finally, El Waldo has arrived! He is now well taken care of at the
legendary Blommeröd stud, close to our home. He travelled well
and quickly got to know the other 15 stallions he is sharing stables
with.
We are looking forward to se him becoming a part of our breeding
program, covering his first mares this spring. He has made a remarkable
racing career 5/34(13-10-4-3-1) with379.445kr in earnings. He comes
from a strong genetic familly with very successful racehorses, both
amongst his ancesters, his full brothers and amongst his full sisters
progeny. With his 160cm he is an impressive fellow who doesn´t
pass unnoticed!
He will be available for a small number of mares apart from our
own. Please contact us for further information.

A legend has passed away.

Early this morning Welona, the mother of El Waldo and El
Garbo died, giving birth to a foal. Apart from being the mother
to our new horses, she was also the dame of El Wodkine, El Camillo
and many more. She has made a rare strong mark in Scandinavian race
breeding. Just last weekend she hit the grand slam at the price
award of the Scandinavian Arabian Racing Assosiation. Her son El
Wodkine got awarded "Best race horse", Her doughter Wilma
Walewska got awarded "Best race filly", Klintes Araber
got awarded "Best race breeder" for her children and grandchildren
El Wodkine, Wilma Walewska, Wictor Hugo and Willgot. Finally Anette
Scherling was awarded "Best trainer" for El Wodkine and
Wictor Hugo. Welona will be dearly missed by her owners P-O and
Anette Scherling at Klintes Araber.

Sad foaling news.

At five o´clock this morning Milia foalded a big, beatiful
colt by Drug SU. Sadly, he died during delivery. It was a beatiful
springday when we burried Milias lovely son in the pastures. He
should have been running there this day, and many other days, instead
of being put in his grave. May you rest in peace, our
little one.

Hedonizt keeps developing well!

Short newsflash from Poland told us Hedonizt is working well under
saddle and now canters 1500m. Also he started his head-to-head training
on the short track. His trainer is very pleased with him and we
hope it will stay that way!

News from Oman!
2007-02-05
We just got an update from Tore Petré in Oman about
Pamorina´s sire Pamor 11(10-1-0). Pamorina is his only offspring
in Europe. He was sold to Oman 1999 and has as far as is known not
sired any foals there either. (He is now gelded.) Pamor was renamed
"Barique" (Lightning in arabian) and moved to Salalah
in the Dhofar-province, close to the border of Yemen. There he was
put in endurance training and is now one of the best endurance horses
in Oman!

El Waldo and El Garbo!

We are very very proud to announce that we have bought the two lovely
horses El Waldo and El Garbo from their breeder Klintes Araber.
They both are by Eldorado and out of Welona by Mamluk.
El Waldo has had a very successful racing career both in Europe
and UAE. He will now go into breeding together with his full sister
El Garbo. She is unraced but her olderst two offsprings are now
racing. Willgot was sold to UAE and came second in his first start.
Wilma Walewska has so far an impressive record: 10(2-1-3-3).

We got news from Poland that Hedonizt is developing fine and now
canters 1000m. Plans are made for his first start later on this
year.

Northern European Derby entries!
2007-01-01
Another one of our young horses is entered in the Northern Europeean
Derby, this time for 2010.
Our very special filly LL Misha by Voronez Kossack NL out of Milia
SU by Parusnik is now entered for the Derby 2010.
Her confirmation so far looks a lot like her mothers, with a very
short back and a lot of hind muscles! Her mother raced very successful
in Russia as a two year old. 5(2-1-2). Her father Voronez Kossack
is unraced but has in his pedigree the blood of both Topol and Kumir.
Also the ladies in his dame line are very strong race horses.
For the 2009 Derby we have entered LL Mishas half sister Mondiale
Kossack by the Drug-son Madiar (Derby winner) and for the 2008 Derby
we entered the loverly Samsheik son Hedonizt out of our grand dame
Relacja.

Hedonizt (Samsheik - Relacja/Algorytm) a.k.a "Herman"
has made the journey to Gestüt Strzegom to be race trained
for the 2007 season as a 3 year old. We wish him and the wonderful
staff at Strzegom the best of luck!
