Bouquet is a very handsome gelding who first from the age of 11 was trained for endurance. Despite the late start he has so far done very well, for example finished 3rd in his first 120km race. He has a very nice body, good legs and a mind that is outstanding. Always ready to give you everyting he has. A true darling!

Bouquets sire Metat is by the legendary Etat, who has been a very successful sire all around the world. (Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Brazil and Argentina.) Metat also sired another successful endurance horse, the stallion Barett (out of Baletta by Figaro) who is Bouquets spitting image in grey! Although the bloodlines are most often used for the showring there is a very strong athletic capacity in these lines wich is often forgotten. Also, in Metats pedigree you will find Espartero, who, apart from being an excellent racehorse himself, left a strong genetic trace in Swedish race- and endurance horses. Eldorado is the grandsire of El Wodkine 56(25-13-5) and his full brother El Waldo 34(13-10-4).

The dame line of Bouquet goes back to the supreme El Paso 2/19(3-3-3) a beautiful, correct stallion with that special WITRAZ-look. The strength in El Paso as a breeding stallion is that he strongly inherits his strong back and perfect croup, his well-set tail carriage and extraordinary neck. He was Scottsdale Champion Stallion 1975 and US National Champion Stallion during his stay in the US to where he was leased for 3 years. His doughter Wizja won the title US Champion Mare the same year! In the blood of Bouquets dame line we also find Dardir, the first stallion to breed at Blommeröd Stud. In the dame line of Bouquet we find two lines to Amrurath Sahib, 2/24(7-5-8-1),
sire of Equifor, Derby Winner; Estokada, Oaks Winner & Arax 18 (5-5-2)
